Doing our part for the Indigo Love of Reading Foundation is the right thing to do. It gives us great pleasure to know that we are making a small difference in a child's life. I'm super proud of my team for their dedication and determination to the cause.

Put books in your local school's library
The Indigo Love of Reading Foundation Literacy Fund provides an opportunity for Indigo stores to make a difference in their community by working directly with a recipient school to rejuvenate their library and involve the children in its evolution. The powerful relationship built during this partnership compelled us to find a way to bring this experience to all Indigo stores.
The Indigo Adopt a School program rallies Indigo stores and employees to help put more books into the hands of even more children across Canada. The power of Adopt a School is in the grassroots outreach between Indigo stores and a school in their community they raise money for. To date we have put more than 80,000 books into the hands of children across the country. Join us September 16 - October 6, 2012 to make this year's Adopt a School program another success!
